Islamabad – In a significant breakthrough, the alleged killer of popular TikToker Sana Yousuf has been arrested. The tragic murder, which took place in Islamabad, sent shockwaves across the country. CCTV footage of the incident has now surfaced, revealing crucial evidence of the crime and the suspect's escape.
Sana Yousuf, known for her vibrant personality and joyful presence on social media, was reportedly alone at home when the crime occurred. According to police sources, the suspect murdered her and fled the scene immediately afterward.
The chilling CCTV footage captures the suspect leaving the crime scene, which played a pivotal role in the investigation. Following swift police action, the suspect was tracked down and arrested in Faisalabad.
The accused has been identified as Umar Hayat, also known as Kaka. Authorities confirmed that the murder weapon, a pistol, has been recovered. Additionally, Sana Yousuf's iPhone was found in the suspect’s possession.
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi praised law enforcement agencies for their swift and efficient action. "Arresting the culprit within 20 hours of the incident is commendable," he said, acknowledging the dedication of Islamabad and Faisalabad police.
The suspect has reportedly confessed to the crime during interrogation, and a formal investigation is underway to determine the motive behind the brutal act.
